" After failing to secure hotel rooms and knowing how hard it is for foreigners to stay in hotels, we were lucky that a friend's father know the owner who allowed us to stay. The open air restaurant is great and being the only foreigners in the city draws attention from the locals. The hotel told us to the police who later checked up on us- no harm done- friendly staff, good breakfast and a somewhat surprisingly comfy stay. Nice food too at the restaurant! "
" Shah Latif describes the beautiful natural scenery of Keenjhar Lake which sets the stage for the love story of fisher woman Noori and the king Jam Tamachi. Cruising in the boat, floating on sparkling clear water and canopied by lush green foliage, the breeze from the north rocks the lake like a hindoro (the iconic Sindhi cradle swing that gently eases away the hot summer afternoons). How lucky we are that we can still try to imagine those moments at Keenjhar Lake Resort hundreds of years later! The resort is a tranquil gateway to explore the lake, visit Noori's island mazar, as well as see her tribes people still fishing in the same waters today! "
