Sindh Tourism Development Corporation (STDC) is established on 13th August 1991 under section 32 of the Companies Ordinance 1984. STDC is functional under the umbrella of Department of Tourism, Government of Sindh, Karachi.
The Turkish Consul General in Karachi, along with his delegation, visited several historical and cultural sites of Sindh, including the Chaukandi Tombs, Banbhore, Makli Necropolis, Shah Jahan Mosque, and Keenjhar Lake.
During the visit, H.E. the Consul General praised the rich history, cultural heritage, and architectural grandeur of Sindh’s historical monuments. He appreciated the efforts of the Culture, Tourism, Antiquities, Archives and Archives Department for the preservation and maintenance of these important heritage sites.
The delegation spent the evening at the Sindh Tourism Development Corporation (STDC) Keenjhar Lake Resort, where they enjoyed a boat ride and a cultural programme featuring traditional Sindhi folk music.
The visit provided an opportunity for the delegation to experience the rich cultural heritage, history, and hospitality of Sindh.
