The tomb of Mubarak Khan is situated in a quadrangle of high wall built in stone block. It stands in close proximity to the mehrab, cut into the western wall of the enclosure. The short inscription in Arabic engraved on the tomb-stone reads:- (Translation).
This resting place is for the exalted Khan Mubarak Khan the martyr son of Sultan Nizamuddin.
The enclosure walls are pierced by two door-openings one of the south and the other on the east wall. The lintel of the eastern door is inscribed with an Arabic inscription, a translation of which is given below:-
The edifice (is built) in the time of the great Khan, Mia Mubarak Khan son of Sultan Nizamddin Shah the benevolent and the beloved of Allah; the construction (began) in the month of Jumadi-I in the year eight hundred and ninety five 895 A.H. (April, 1409 A.D.).
